This is wonderful on cheesecake, or even just over some Greek yogurt for super breakfast..
- 2 tbls sugar
- 1 tbls cornstarch (you can miss this if the sugar is preserving sugar)
- 3 tbls port
- 1 tbls water
- 1 cup (about one large handful) blueberries 1
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
Mix the cornstarch and sugar together, then add the port, water and blueberries. Cook over a low heat until the lot has thickened up. Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice.
